About Us
The Jewelry Cafe began as a dream - a dream to create a special place that featured American jewelry artisans. After years of doing craft shows and speaking to the women who came into my booth, an idea for a special retail concept began to form. Each show I participated in seemed to have a ratio of two jewelry vendors for every other kind of craft. The booths that were busy were mostly the jewelry booths.
What if there was a retail shop that featured nothing but artisan jewelry - every kind of artisan jewelry? Throw in really cool handbags that are recycled, made of seatbelts or Mother of Pearl and hand painted silk scarves, ties, shawls, picture frames and mirrors, candlesticks and other household accessories and you have The Jewelry Cafe!
We're not done yet - offer gourmet chocolate and candies, repair costume jewelry, offer on-site alteration of most items prior to purchase, clip conversion for most pierced earrings and the ability to provide a Clever Clasp or non-allergenic ear wires.
Add to that, custom orders for special occasions - and you have The Jewelry Cafe!
